Between are 700 churches with more than 280,000 members from African-American, Anglo, Filipino, Haitian, Hispanic, Korean, Native American, Russian and Vietnamese backgrounds making up one dynamic church.

Teens trek to Hispanic-Latin worship night. Dozens of teenagers, yes, teenagers, recently made the trek from all over Central Florida to a small town north of Winter Haven to worship God, socialize, eat and connect. Conference is planting a church in women’s prison. Bishop Ken Carter began discussions three years ago about starting a United Methodist church inside the Lowell Correctional Institute in Reddick, about 15 miles north of Ocala.
